5 pages samples - Roguelike Action / Thriller
NPCs were getting boring, so a game company kidnaps game testers and erases their memories to play as the bosses in their new online game. To lead a “prison break”, an isolated teenager will need to communicate with a player in the outside world.

Insights
“This story combines my favourite roguelike action-rpg mechanics with a compelling Severance-like thriller mystery. It holds a lesson about how real happiness can only be achieved by facing our traumas and connecting, as the player needs to find a way to turn their competitors into allies and include them in their strategy.
It's a super-meta story with lots of humor, big twists and a ton of heart.”

THE LAST GUACI
5 pages - Gameplay and Cinematic - Action RPG
When a powerful empire attacks a tribe in the Amazon forest, a harsh mom and terrified daughter need to face their differences to escape.

Insights
“I had only a few visual assets to choose from to create a motion capture one-shot sequence. Working within these limitations and using my filmmaker background to make the best of them was lots of fun.
The gameplay and cinematics focus on the arc of a young woman who needs to gather courage to face insurmountable odds.”

Adventurers are caught in a sadistic “Hunger Games” scenario and need to find creative ways to escape a game rigged against them.
Insights
“It was lots of fun to create a 3-5 hours DND campaign with a satisfying conclusion and branching player paths. In this story, the players unravel the secrets behind a deadly competition created by evil fey creatures and inspired by sadistic Japanese game shows.”
